lyndix
A family member of mine is looking to invest some money for the kids in the family, she is thinking of using a company called "Swallow financial management" at Swallownest to help & advise her. Has anyone else had any dealings with this company? I would be really grateful for any input good or bad before she makes any final decisions. Thanks
DapperDan
Hi They helped me find my mortgage and did a top job to be honest. My mum recommended them to me as she's used them in the past. I would recommend them for sure.
RazorSHarp
If you are investing a lump sum make sure the cheque is made payable to the Investment company, ie Aviva, Standard Life etc or the Bank/BS you are meant to be investing in. Never hand the Financial Advisor cash, and make sure you get a cooling off notice within a few days of the investment. If all that happens you'll be OK, I'm seem to remeber from my time at NU Swallow Fianacial are quite reputable and have been around for a number of years. Heyesey
These guys got me a slug of money back for being mis-sold an endowment. Don't know what their like on investment handling, but they're very polite, friendly and efficient at getting things done, I can tell you that much.
