kel83
I'm in need of a builder to move an internal stud wall in my house. Can anyone recommend a good, reliable company who will ring you back when you ask a question? I've rang a few people who said they would get back to me, to no avail. Thanks! scoop
I am also looking for recommended builders, to look at some work to a bay window. Like you Kel83, I've phoned a few but they just don't ring back/turn up. Why dont they just say they dont want the job?
kel83
It's so annoying! I had this guy round who said they'd give me a quote, but it took me asking them for it a few days later to actually receive it. It would be so much easier if they just said, sorry we can't do it or whatever.
pennangton
is it a easy job?
Cyclone
finding a reliable tradesman of any sort is difficult. Once you've found them, make sure you don't loose the phone number.

IT78
Hi, I also need a builder to make a doorway in the supporting wall. The person/company should be able to make drawings/plan/design with all measurements before starting the job (need this for freeholder's permission). Any recommendations? thanks IT
Cyclone
freehold means that you own the land as well as the house. Leasehold means that you don't own the land, but you still don't need permission for internal changes, only for external ones.
