Elphi 24
Hi Guys Looking for some advice Ive just got a new laptop and Ive got it to find my wireless home network and it says that the signal strength is excellent. However, it also says limited or no connectivity and I can't therefore get on the internet. It does find other wireless networks when I am out and about. I also have another older laptop which is finding the wireless network at home. Any pearls of wisdom anyone?!
kurlymunky
I know my router does that when I add a PC that isn't in my allowed MAC address filter. It allows a wireless connection to the router but won't exchange any data, saying it has limited conectivity. Have a look to see if you have a filter enabled and if it is, does it have the laptop's MAC in it. Chris.

MickM
make sure to use WPA security if available, it's a lot more secure than WEP.
