TattyBear
Hi, I wanted a dog kennel/shed type thing building to keep my 2 labradors outside in. I want to start keeping them outside while I am at work. I must be secure and not be an open pen type style. I dont want anyone to know they are there for obviously safety reasons. I must be very strong and secureand draft free. Not sure whether wood or metal or brick would be best. Please help me. Thanks
carpetviper
I'd invest in a brick one as they cant be eaten LOL.
WallBuilder
A friend of mine has a German Shepherd and it lives in an outside compound which has a small wooden garden shed in the corner. This is great as it's hooked up with an electric light and has a door in it so humans can enter if needed. The dog has his own slightly smaller entrance [he is a big dog] and he has his bed in there and his jealously guarded toys. As it's a wooden shed it feels slightly warm and has just recently been upgraded with thermal sheets fastened to the inner walls making it very snug. When my dog Max goes there we often open the door to find the pair of them sitting in the bed together looking really cute.
bluesandtwos
Unless you want to build something the size of a garage, space for our dogs could be a problem. would consider investing in a secure, roofed run with kennel in. will keep your dogs safe without them being cooped up
