Livewirex
I would leave it at home unless you dont like the wheels you have on it.
Grahame
Suggest you park at Fairholmes on the banks of Ladybower. You have to pay though but you can get snacks there and I have never seen as many ducks waddling about. When you go over the bridge at Slippery Stones your instinct is to turn right and follow the east bank of the reservoir, but you are better off turning left and climbing the hill, then the track veers to the right and then you can follow the reservoir which you can see below you. I hope this helps. When you you get back onto the Snake Road (A57) turn right and go over the viaduct, then right again back to the car-park at Fairholmes for a well earned rest. Moyesyside's answer to park on the main road is also a good suggestion, but your car may be more secure at Fairholmes.
djames
i've never had any problem parking on the main road. there are also a few (40 or 50) free spaces on the east bank itself.
