pertfoxylush
Teeny, hope you don't mind me asking, but what are the main symptoms are PCOS? This is something that was mentioned by my GP, but after blood tests, nothing was ever mentioned. Thanks
simondjuk
Im not sure if this is any use to you but someone I know has the same condition and the reason was because what she was eating. Maybe its worth looking at.
Heyesey
My partner has it, but she takes Metformin rather than spironolactone. She tells me this is because metformin is better at removing the excess hair growth that the condition causes.
teeny
Lack of periods!! facial hair, weight gain or weight loss depending on which hormones are high and unable to become pregnant or carry a pregnancy. My friend has this condition and is concerned that spironalactone is damaging her body, we just wondered if there was a better way naturally
teddygirl
Teeny, hope you don't mind me asking, but what are the main symptoms are PCOS? This is something that was mentioned by my GP, but after blood tests, nothing was ever mentioned. Thanks Excess Hair, weight gain, trouble with fertility. Symptoms are kept at bay more with a healthy diet and watching your weight. Metformin (normally for diabetes because your insulin levels drop with PCOS) seems to be the most common treatment, I was on this but came off as it wasnt making any difference.
