Koalasfriend
I'm trying to book a late deal and am getting fed up of seeing decent prices on the net and then calling only to find out that that's not the price at all. Larger travel ocmpanies seem to be a real rip off. Does anyone know of a local travel agency that tend to do good deals? Someone I can trust not to rip me off? Thank you. Bago
I don't think online companies are set out to rip you off, but you gotta know that, different agents sometimes get a set number of plane tickets too. Especially if they're the sole designated agents for a particular airline or route. Depends on where you go, prices will vary. If you prefer to deal with a person face to face. Then try Ilkeston as mentioned, or else, Apollo (?) which also have a base in Sheffield. Try the Co-op's travel agents. Plane tickets are better bought online. More choices. Package deals are better in local travel agents. You know what you are getting, and you can talk about the small details.
devlin
Booking the bits individually always works out cheaper for us try A1 travel for your flights and lowcostbeds.com for your accomodation
Bruno
In addition to the above info Try http://www.skyscanner.net for your flights (you can search by month so easy to pick those cheap flights) and http://www.alpharooms.com for your accomodation However for package deals try http://www.icelolly.com they specialise in cancellations, but what ever price you see on screen ad about £50 per person for those hidden costs such as transfers/tickets on departure etc example a quick search on ice lolly i just found luxor egypt all inc from £
