cgksheff
Larium is very good at doing the job it was designed for. Unfortunately, the last place that you want to find out that you suffer from the side effects is in a third-world country with poor medical support. I would really recommend that anyone who intends to use Larium for the first time does so in this country, a month or more before they plan to travel. In that way they can learn whether it disagrees with them or not, with the security of the NHS to fall back on.
Banjo Griner
I took malarone instead and didn't notice any effects - was very expensive tho. Vitamin B deters mozzies, but you have to start taking it about 3 weeks before travel. It really does work though, especially when combined with a citric repellant.
