fox20thc
Okay. I have this lovely shiny new pc with trial office on it. I have an original with a product key but if I type in the product key to activate it microsoft say its invalid. Help would be appreciated, I dont want to buy it again. Nazo
Is it exactly the same version of Office? If not it won't work. You might be better off getting rid of the trial version and instaling from your original disks.
fox20thc
Okay, the trial software came with the pc. But I have the full software with the reg key which I used to have on my old pc. Im worried that if I install it it might say the key is invalid because I had previously installed it on another pc.

esme
if the other PC has been scrapped you should be able to transfer the license with no problem, if on the other hand you sold it or gave it away and the software is still on it then really the license should go with the machine to whoever has it now
