peardrops
I've been married for 10 years and have 2 kids. About 2/3 times per year we go and stay with my parents. We have NEVER had sex in my parents house in that time and I never ever could. I never did it in my parents house when I lived there as a youngster and venturing out into sexual pleasures. I read alot of 1st and 2nd world war social history novels where 75% of the population married and moved into their parents home. They then conceived and had several babies until they could "get rooms" themselves. My hubby thinks I'm bonkers not having sex in my parents house, especially considering our ages but I just can't bring myself to do it. I've had this conversation with my mum and her reaction was "its the best contraception known to man". Obviously she feels the same as me and its rubbed off on me. Am I right or wrong for abstaining when visiting? Just wondered what your views were. I point out to hubby that if we lived in 1949 and moved in with my parents, we would be sexless and probably childless!!!!!
saxon51
Try doing it with three grunting teenaged lads mooching around the house 24/7.
peardrops
I haven't got there yet saxon! LOL. My kids are 7 and nearly 9. However, we did get copped about 2 months ago and were told we were "disgusting". Couldn't agree more !!!
Lotti
lol peardrops... GothicCharm will kill me for saying this, but I can remember a few years back she was sleeping in my room and the dreaded moment when you realise you can hear your parents having sex came along... I tried to ignore it but no! GC laid with her head by the door saying 'Mum's crying, there's something wrong, mum's crying' I said 'no she's not - go to sleep' 'She is, she's crying' 'no she's not' 'she is!' 'NO she's not, she's fine - go to sleep' 'she's crying though - I'm going to go and see what's going on!' 'Bex! She's having sex!!' silence and a very pale faced little sister! peardrops
OMG, I remember catching my folk for the first time. I woke to the sounds of my mum sounding very distressed. She'd had some health issues and I assumed my dad would help her. Then I thought "I'll wait for 10 more moans and then go and see she's alright incase dad is asleep or out". I waited for 10. Then I thought maybe 20!!! I then thought "sod it, my dad isn't around to help her, I'll have to go and sort her out". I walked in the bedroom with a HUGE hump in the bed and two very embarrassed parents!!! Whoops!
peardrops
I hasten to add that my daughter (nearly 9) caught us at 2am!!! She woke up and crept downstairs to our room and then sat on the stairs till be finished apparently. I was gutted, she just said, you two are disgusting and went off to bed. I personally don't have a problem with it - I think it's nice when a couple as old as my parents are still in love and 'up for it'!
