Okay we've talked about Brucie for long enough now let's discuss Ola. I watched the folow on show on BBC 2 today and had to agree with the comments made by some-one. 'She looks so good no-one is watching her partner'

I liked the idea of the camera crew getting all excited when they knoew she's around.

It'll be interesting to see how she [sorry they] progress in the weeks ahead.

And another thing. When they do that double drum beat when the judges are announcing their marks, I keep expecting the Black Beauty theme tune to start up.

WallBuilder, I already have discussed Ola (Post 4), she's a stunner and a fantasic dancer and will keep me glued to the set as long as she keeps her partner in the competition. She's already married to one of the other dancers though!

Both my mother and father taught ballroom dancing and so I've been aware of some of the complexities for years. One thing that did suprise me at times was when I was working on the door of my dad's place and there was a dance competition. Some women/girls would come in and you wouldn't give them a second glance.

BUT one sparkly or floaty dress and a pair of heels and the mundane becomes the gorgeous

How lucky to have a mother & father who taught dancing. We loved it,going to the City Hall & Locarno years ago. Mind you we only shuffled round the floor, nobody did "proper dancing" .They would have thought the man was Gay if he did.Now of course its all changed, and has come back into fashion, with the t.v.programme.

I can just about waltz if forced but much prefer to be a wall flower and just enjoy the music.

I've met a few people who were taught by my father although my mother gave it up years ago. The thing that most people who knew her in old age wont believe is the fact that she specialised in the Jive, I'm not sure I believe it either although I've seen a couple of photo's.

I used to knock around with one of my father's trainee dance teacher and sometimes used to watch her learning. All that stuff about heel and toe and rise and fall, not forgetting posture, where your hands are.

All crredit to the celebrities some of them in previous shows have been simply amazing and I'm going to be very interested to see how the female celebs get on when they're in the spotlight.

Okay initial thoughts, I'm quite impressed with that youngster out of Eastenders and morre than one of the girls looked as though she was being propelled around the floor by their partner and so didn't warrant the scores the judges gave after all their critical comments about some of the male celebs last week.

I think the guys did a much better job in the group dance as well and that lift by Peter had to be seen to be believed, I don't know who was braver him for doing it or his partner for having the bravery to of taught it.

Brendan being a pro must of known his lifts would cause a certain amount of irritation amongst the judges and he deserved the rather scathing comments he got.

Yes, last nights performance by Brendan Cole was silly. All those lifts, which were banned in anycase. He was lucky to get through.I dont like him anyway.Didnt see much of Ola last night,as it was the girls turn.I thought Carole Smiley was very good, but didnt like the way they criticised the girl in red(dont know her name) She wasnt that bad,she doesnt get on with her partner(which shows).Yes, Emma Buntin was good & the 17 year old actress.Look forward to next week when I think both the men & women celebs both dance.
