xenia
sorry about the two year gap in replying to this question, hope you are still out there. Mick the Wig or MTW as he is known is a dodgy car dealer from the Mexborough area. He was featured in a "fly on the wall" expose re "clocking cars" he can be seen propping up the bar in the Manor Farm pub at Old Denaby. I will never forget the site of him driving a Porshe with the top down the wind in his hair, only problem was his "hair" was dangling about a foot behind his head attached to his pate by one remaining strip of elastoplast. The funniest thing to happen in Mexborough since the canal bank gave way. What a plonker!

You can still see MW chiseled in stone on the corporation street bridge in sheffield it looks very old and faded. A while before the new roads were built in that area i can recall other old graffiti that reffered to Mick the wig.

Yes i remember this as well, somebody went to great trouble and time to make their mark. Its been done with an hammer and chisel. In fact it can still be seen and must be at least 50 year old.
