shelby46
I moved from one aea of Sheffield because of my car being trashed. Now it has been vandalised twice in two days! A gang of youths were hanging about but we have no proof it was them. Where is the enjoyment in trashing cars? I now have to pay a fortune again on insurance fees. I am disabled and need my car but am considering giving it up or moving again. Why should I have to change my life because of mindless yobs? I reported it and they don't even do fingerprints anymore.
babychickens
my car window was smashed earlier this week. you don't live in cromwell street in walkley, do you? looks like the little b'tards went down the road and smashed 3 or 4 random windows. I discovered the they don't fingerprint when the weather is damp as it ruins the prints. however, the police should pay attention if you can find any food/drink/cigarettes or blood. that really sucks that you already moved house to avoid things like that happening. on a separate and unrelated note, neeeeeeek - i tried to find the number of frank butler the fab builder, but can't find it. i need to sort some stuff out later, i may find it then, you never know. asti
Saturday morning went to get in the car only to find a deep scratch from middle of drivers door to the centre of the rear panel,The feeling in the pit of my stomach was one of complete anger and hate. For a short period of time i was contemplating serious GBH to whoever had commited this totally pointless act but common sense prevailed, Hey!! it's only a car.Went back to my aparment and called the (what i thought was the local police) WRONG!!! It was a very nice lady who Asked a few questions about the incident but far more questions about myself , DOB, electrol register How long at the address etc, i asked if a police officer would sent to investigate?? was told, only if there was a patrol car in the area, Whilst on the phone i noticed 3 children!!!!! near the car seemingly admiring their handy work, i gave their description to the nice lady who said "Quote"i'll get some one there now "unquote." Needless to say no one arrived. I'ts monday, i'm back to my old "laid back"self. The lowest quote to repair the car is £315+ vat, monies that could be better spent on beer and tapas back in Gib/spain. On speaking to neighbours (mosty elderly) it seems The three children belong to a very large troubled family and are well known in the area for causing a lot of anti- social problems. Well i'm sure the authorities in their infinite wisdom will have it all under control soon. Sheffield!! it's not just you,the problem is everywhere because the systems that are in place don't work and are failing us. ""Well"" thats my whing out the way,now where's that return ticket back to Malaga?
YakQueudrue
It all depends on the type of car
shelby46
It all depends on the type of car In what way? At my old address I had an old car, but now I have a newer one. Both cars are entirely different, and both trashed by mindless yobs. Maybe I will buy a tank.
