ReginaldD
Stan Collymore is in The Mirror today giving an interview saying he is on a strict fitness regime and feels in 4weeks time he would be a capable striker in the premiership. Does anyone think he is worth the risk of signing at 35 he states he has n't had anymajor injuries so his body has some good years left in it. I think we would be worth the risk of signing on a month to month contract for someone in the championship, not sure if he'd be able to do anything in the premiership. What do you think? tosh13
He said when he is fit he can stand side by side with any striker in the Premiere League, he could stand side by side but thats all, he is 35 & been out of the game since 2001.He is desperate for cash as his last club in Spain are suing him for breach of contract £300.000.I wonder if that is his main decision for starting up again. 8balltiger
Be an interesting triallist. I dont think it would be worth diving in for him. I suppose his body could be in decent nick without 5 years extra strain on it.
Macca
Lets put this into perspective, Villa have just signed Chris Sutton, and Stan Collymore is a far better player than Sutton will ever be.

Think the right word you should be looking for (until proven otherwise) is not "is" it is "was"

Macca
Think the right word you should be looking for (until proven otherwise) is not "is" it is "was" I disagree, Sutton did nothing at all of merit during his time with Birmingham. At least Collymore brings creativity to a side.
