GazB
I'm looking after my dog for the week whilst my parents are away.. But I'm fed up of the same old food I eat. Toast, microwave food and take-aways! I've never really tried cooking before, but I pick things up well.. So has anyone got any ideas for me? Something tasty, yet not too bad for you and easy for a beginner to manage? Failing that.. Who wants to come and cook for me for the week?
Macca
Just lifted this from one of my old posts. I must confess the recipe is shamefully lazy.... Ingredients One Pack Sainsbury's Taste the Difference Sicillan(sp!) Sausages Two tins Chopped Tomatoes One Red Onion 2 cloves of garlic (more for vamps!) Olive Oil Mozerella Cheese Seasoning to taste (Basil, Italian seasoning, Orange rind, salt pepper) Prep Finley dice the onion Peel and slice the Garlic Squeze the sausage meat out of its skins, seperating it into small meatballs Cooking Soften the Onion and Garlic in a little Olive Oil Add the Meatballs, and allow them to seal Add the tomoatoes and bring to a simmer Allow to cook for about five minutes Season to taste Serve with Pasta, and the Mozerella as a topping. Harleykim
Ooooh try special scrambled egg. Just make ur ordinary scrambled egg, then add some cooked bits of bacon, a few fried peppers and onions, a pinch of salt, and serve with some sausages. Yummy!! GazB
I don't even know how to scramble eggs! Or how to turn the oven on, or how long to cook stuff for and at what temp. I'm hopeless!

Harleykim
Aaaaww I'd come round and do it for you!! Right, you just put a bit off milk and 3 eggs in a jug, whisk it all up, stick it in a frying pan with a little oil and keep stiring while heating untill scrambled and nicely cooked. In the same pan, fry some bacon, peppers and onion, It doesn't matter what heat you use, it will cook either way. Add everything that you have fried together and serve with sausages that you have fried while frying all this eggy stuff. No need to use the oven, just 2 pans and 2 hobs. Harleykim
Bless. You should have someone come round and give you a quick course on how to feed yourself for a week.
BasilRathbon
Find a woman to cook for you. The kitchen is not the environment for a single young male. No, but seriously didn't Delia Smith do a book called something like "How To Boil An Egg" for people who had literally no experience of cooking? Might be worth picking up a copy. A final alternative is, seeing as you're feeding the dog, you might as well share his dinner......
*Ryan*
Yeah. Someone told me you can cook owt on it.. and I once cracked an egg and let it out on the Goerge Foreman and it just fell straight off haha haha that made me laugh!! Bacon and chicken fillets i would stick on there, then chop em into pieces.. then buy some salsa and a tortilla wrap.. add mushrooms and peppers to! (ps, without my bird i would be hopeless to!) Oh, an omellette, mix milk and and egg together stick it in frying pan and flip it over couple a times.. pps.. To be fair im still hopeless
