Outlook express problems

It may be that your ISP / hosting company's mail server is down, being maintained or is overloaded.

I have this occasionally and it usually sorts itself out in a few minutes.

Years ago I had this occasionally when I'd forgotten to pay teh bill, so it's always worth checking!

I (and 000's of others, by the way) had the same problem, but the above sorted it.

Don't forget though - if you're going to mess with the Registry,

1) Back up first!

2) Back up second!

3) Don't do it, but find someone who knows how to!

It happens quite often. Usually it's because there's some sort of glitch at your email provider's end, and it sorts itself out after a while.

Have you tried accessing your emails via webmail, and do you still have the same problem? If so, it could be that you are entering the wrong username and password.

If you can access your emails ok via webmail, delete the email account from OE, and then re-add it. That might sort the problem but, if it is a problem at your email provider's end, then it won't.

Depends what email account you're sending it from...

AOHell will only accept emails from domains with SPF records. If you're using the wanadoo email account then I would've thought they would've sorted that out, but if you're using a different email account you may need to get this set up by whoever hosts the domain name.
