Many thanks to beansforyou for volunteering to organise the Secret Stash Swap (SSS), and for writing this, the 'official' information about the scheme. If you have any ideas, comments, questions etc, please post them in the other, non-sticky thread here. Thanks .

Secret Stash Swap - Instructions and Information

 

Anyone wishing to join in the Secret Stash Swap please contact beansforyou via PM before the 20th October so she can arrange the first parcel.

 

Here is a summary of how this is going to work:

 

1. Once I have a list of all the people participating, I will put together a package of enough stash to go around everyone once.

 

2. I will send it to the next person on my list, along with the list of all participating.

 

3. The reciever will choose what items they wish to keep, and replace them with items of their choosing, knitting related, to a similar value.

 

4. They then send the parcel on to the next person at the top of the list.

 

Once you have received the parcel, please cross off your details at the top of the list, to try and keep it organised. Remember to post that you have received/sent the parcel, and what treasures you've decided to keep

 

If there is nothing in the Stash that takes your fancy, then just send it on to the next person. Please bare in mind that you will have to pay the postage costs to send the parcel on.

 

I hope this doesn't sound too organised and boring lol, but if we get it going properly it should be alot of fun!
