DancingDave
Hi Any one know of a good firm to replace the double glazed units in my windows, a couple of them have got moisture between, I've had one quote but seemed expensive at around £ 350.00 for two windows. Are there any firms that specialize in this ? I've seen vans driving around that say "misted units - call us " but can't remember the name of the company. Cheers

Cheers That'd be the 'hotmelt' seal thats gone then. Depends what size you want fella, and type of glass. Pilkington Lowe (k).. or the normal 'clear' stuff, and lead/bevels etc... A plain clear average sized unit I could get for around 30quid.
DancingDave
Ok, there is one large unit, 180cm x 120 cm, and a smaller one 80 x 62.5 Both clear toughened, as one is in a door, one is only 45cm off the ground. Not K glass, as they don't have to comply with building regulations part "L" as it is a like for like replacement. Cheers

scarby
Does anyone know where to get the new units with the upvc beading on the inside of the sealed unit? The spacer bar, (round the edge) or, like a georgian bar, through the middle.. normally white in colour?
