baileys_mum
Ive been after one for years, anything from 800-1200 from a good breeder
bluesandtwos
guide price for a chihuahua is £500-£1500. not an expert on the breed but you can find loads of breed info on the Kennel club website. If you are looking for a pet only, you could try their breed rescue. just do the dog lovers here a favour and steer well clear of those from puppy farms, as they are a farming fav, due to their small size and high retail value. baileys_mum
The puppy farmers are usually easy enough to spot in ads. They have more than one ad, more than one type of dog for sale and usually work on a mobilke number only. ALWAYS ask to see mother and if poss father. Id also ask about eye tests and hip scores

kittencapes
Well I am not really wanting a 'designer' dog to be honest which is what they are i guess, i just want something small that I can look after easily. I would prefer a cat but i worry too much about them getting run over as i livei n a busy road, so a little dog that i can take for walkies would be perfect! Something from a rescue centre could be ideal!

scoop
Well I am not really wanting a 'designer' dog to be honest which is what they are i guess, i just want something small that I can look after easily. I would prefer a cat but i worry too much about them getting run over as i livei n a busy road, so a little dog that i can take for walkies would be perfect! Something from a rescue centre could be ideal! I dont wish to offend anyone, but chihiuhua's aren't known to be the friendliest of dogs are they? Now if I was looking for a small dog who would make a really affectionate pet, I would go for a cavalier king charles spaniel. Really lovely friendly little dogs. There is a cavalier rescue somewhere in the country but I dont have the link for it unfortunately.

bluesandtwos
Defo check out the breed characteristics if you are planning to have the dog at home when you are at work. some of the small breeds can be very vocal and you dont want to upset your neighbours. Plenty of small breeds to choose from so sure you will find one to fit your needs.
