Savannah2 Posted October 2, 2006 Share Posted October 2, 2006 Yeah, i can't say i've tried Ability Office... but why bother paying for any MS-alternative when you can get OpenOffice? Or AbiWord if you just want a word processor. . I have used Ability office and it just doesn't compare to OpenOffice, I also use Abiword too, excellent basic word processor and will meet most peoples need. Savannah2 Posted October 2, 2006 Share Posted October 2, 2006 my PC came with Panda preinstalled it was so intrusive it would crash my machine periodically and generally made it run like a drugged slug, I had exactly the same problem with Panda, it compared with Norton for slowness, and daily my PC would crash, well even Norton never crashed my PC....lol By one get three free, I'll move along the isle to the fresh fruit section.
