Cyclone
I'm looking for a new watch. I'm not after a £4.99 casio, I can't see anything in the high street jewelers that takes my fancy... So i'm looking for some ideas. I had decided that I liked the Seiko Arctura, but having tried it on it appears to be made for someone with an arm as big as my leg, it looks like I have some sort of comedy oversized watch on, so that idea is out. Arctura for reference. Ideally i'd like something that doesn't require battery or winding, metal strap, ideally titanium and smart looking. evildrneil
I have an arctura (this one) and can highly recomend them! They are a touch on the chunky side but the straps are easy to resize

Cyclone
it wasn't the strap that was the problem, the entire watch completely overpowered my wrist. It's not like I have small dainty wrists or anything, but it looked like I had a small plate strapped to my arm. I had a look at TH, but couldn't see one that tickled my fancy. AJ sheffield
I have a few nice watches but what I really want when I grow up is one of these. I have seen them in Meadowhall and they are awesome in every way, quality, size and unfortunately cost. I can dream though. You cant really go wrong with Seiko watches though. Guest_225
You can't go wrong with a Rado. They're scratchproof and made out of super hard ceramic material. Had mine for 9 years and it still looks new.
medusa
How about a ladies' sized one of the watch you were originally looking at? I've got 2 Seiko Kinetics (a steel one and a titanium one) and I really like them. The ladies' ones aren't diddy little things- they just might be in proportion to your wrist a little more than the men's ones (I do think that the size of watches has got bigger over the last few years).
