Cuey
Its been goign up and down for a week. Ive tried another box so iknow it's not that. The begining of the week i had a signal strength of 1 then yesterday it went up to 9 noe its back to 1 an some of the channels i can't get. Thy must be pratting about with the transmitter. Makes you wonder why you pay a license. Doesn't look good for 2012 and full cutover if this is what you get.
Col2k5
My mum has freeview and its rubbish .. i personally have Cable .. but my mum doesnt want to pay out monthly for tv .. so we have shopped around and found the best option for her is to pay the one off payment of £150 and have the Sky Free-To-View fitted .. i had Sky before Cable and never had any problems with them so she is opting for that option... jennym705
Same problem over here in Stannington. Even worse reception than usual, some channels missing completely, then better in the evening. If it wasn't for the odd time it's okay and we can see the dr who reruns, I'd bin the flippin' thing. mr chris
Analogue is a better system Yeah, with it's noise, ghosting, snowstorms, constantly having to move the aerial to get a decent picture, analogue is much better. Compared to that, the perfect picture quality and choice I get with DVB is a nightmare, I can tell you! That's like comparing DVD to VHS. You just can't. Yeah but with analogue you at least do get a picture, and vhs is better than dvd, they still havn't mastered digital media yet,you make a mistake with video tape and you can edit it out,try that with a dvd disk. Dozey
I don't know of anyone with freeveiw that hasn't had problems with it,i've had several units and had problems with them all,and before anyone mentions aerials i've had no problems at all with analogue,i can get all analogue channels with a piece of wet string and that's at two different locations,so please don't sing the praises of digital until they get it right.
