56cheffy
I just found out and old Nokia 3310 to give to mum in law, (easy to use)..it hasn't been used for about 2 years and wont charge...will the battery have died completely..or does it need (and this is the dumb part of the question) a SIM card in it before it will charge! upinwath
Sim card should make no odds but the battery may have seen better days. A new one should be cheap but make sure the phone works ok first. Should get a bit of life from it if you turn it on after an hour or two charging if you leave it plugged in when you turn it on. kenthack
as above just leave it on for a bit before you throw it also make sure the battery asnt been knocked and is actually in right youll prob be able to get a newer (cheap)phone for the same price as the battery
