Hope - US band currently on tour round the UK

Ultimate Kings - Local metal band

SnatchBack - Local rock/punk band, played on radio1's monday night lockup show. Good reviews from sandman and sheffield unsigned.

 

Wednesday 10th March @ the Grapes

Johnny rocket and the atoms - Leeds melodic punkrock band

KIK are a great band, whose music is undescribable really (a mixture of electro rock and dance beats)

 

You have to see them live, their gigs rock!

 

I think they're playing at the Boardwalk in February, but I definately know they are playing in Manchester at Night & Day Cafe on 21st February.

 

I'll definately be going to both gigs.

Really into The Rossmann Frister Project at the moment. Saw them at the Plug a couple of weeks ago and was really surprised at how good they were live. Their tunes were wicked and their sound was awesome.

Interesting thread, if you really dig live music then you would not need to be asking who is who. Sheffield has loads of excellent bands and venues offering free entry and why not go along and check out the local and out of town talent too!

Simply go out and catch a band performing and enjoy.Simple really I thinks!

My daughter went to see a band in Sheffield called Chasing Amy .. she thought they were excellent but I think they are Chesterfield way.
