doodle
I've seen a few patterns say start with Xmm needles and do so many rows and then change to Yxx needles. How do you do the change over? None of the patterns explain this. Do I take all the stitches off the Xmm needles and thread them all on to the Ymm needle. Or do I swap the needle with no stitches on it to the Ymm and knit with odd sized needles and then swap the other needle to the Ymm so I'm then knitting with both Ymm needles (hope this makes sense). Lucy-Lastic
When it says to change swap the right hand needle for the new size (i.e. the knitting is on the left and you knit onto the right) then once this has been knit onto the new size put the old needles away and use the pair of the new size. Hope that makes sense:D
