Recommend me a Combined DVD Recorder, HD & Freeview?

Anyone got a Combined DVD Recorder, Hard Disk & Freeview?

 

Are you happy with it?

I've got a Humax 9200T twin tuner PVR, doesn't have a dvd recorder built in but it does have a USB port so I can upload to my PC and it also has a second scart so you can dump stuff to a vcr or dvd writer, though this is at playback speed and you can't play anything else to the tv while you do it but you can record at the same time

you can also edit the program in the box to remove the ads first though I prefer to do this on a PC.

Thanks that's an interesting alternative and it's only £190 compared with the Sony I was looking at for £380.

plus it's a 160Gb disk ... I don't think I've watched a live program or advert in six months

I have a Sagem freeview/recorder.

Unfortunately it only records in 4:3 format and 4:3 letterbox whatever the format of the programme being broadcast.

This is not obvious until you've bought it and set it up or read the instructins.
