me-and-pippo
Most compatible catridges are ok for plain paper printing, but when it comes to photo printing i have had problems with some. ie: ink bleeding and not drying out, what i do now is refill the empty cartridges. I use 'JET TEC' ink and the results i get are as good as the expensive Epson made ones, and works out hell of a lot cheaper. P.S, dont forget the rubber gloves if you try this or you will end up with rainbow coloured fingers. Epson RX420/425 multifunction. Another tip is Epson cartridges show up as empty when infact they arnt, a cartridge zapper (chip reseter) will sort that out.
sallonoroff
I have always prefered HPs. That said, their build quality has gone down hill recently. As has their customer support! .
