normanmarina Posted September 29, 2006 Share Posted September 29, 2006 Hi all,new to this site,does anyone remember lodge moor cafe?it was opposite the hospital gates on redmires road,me and my mum had the said cafe when I was still at Tapton school we were there 71/73 prior to that my mum ran two garages at hillsborough,Owlerton green garage and Carmyles both now demolished in the name of progress!!!hope someone out there remembers would like to hear from anyone,I am now living just outside Preston but still have fond memories of my home town.Also anyone who used to hang round fulwood shops/forge dam 70/72,wapentake/albert/minerva/marquis of granby 74ish,one thing ive noticed on my regular visits home is that the crags at lodge moor isnt full of children!!!computer games have a lot to answer for!!!regards to all Colin.
