liedon
Hi Mark, Nice to hear some names from the past! I remember a lot of those you mentioned. I went to Brightside school until 66 when we moved to Rotherham. My grandparents had the shop on Jenkin Road for many years (Shepherd's) Sorry but I don't recognise your name. I remember the Harrison's who also lived just across from the rec, the Wilson's who lived on Walling Road. Gordon Mc clean is the father of Janet and Olivia who also lived on Walling Road. unless there is another one I don't know. Have you looked on Friends re united? Brightside School is on there. Hi Liedon thanks for your reply, I knew your grandparents especially your grandfather he was a gent, I went into Shepherds daily great shop. The Wilsons on Walling rd were Andy & Steve, no relation. Gordon Mclean will be around 48 now so he has 2 children, I didn't know, unless that was Gordon senior, sorry I don't recall you but thanks for getting in touch. liedon
Hi again Mark, Just thought you may like to know, my gran (mrs Shepherd) is still very much alive and kicking and reach the age of 100 in February this year!! My Grandad died in 1984. You are right with the Wilsons names, although there were several more children in the family. I had relations that lived on Limpsfield Road called Yerrell, they moved South several years ago.
