simondjuk
Have you ever noticed if you park in a supermarket carpark, you park where there are no other cars near you. Then you do your shopping and when you get back to your car, its been surrounded by other cars. This seems to happen even if you park in the furthest possible parking space. Or is it just me? Cyclone
yes, it happens to me as well, and it's really annoying. I park far away because I don't want idiots to hit my car with their doors, so they ignore the hundred empty spaces and park next to me.

simondjuk
My wife does this in Tescos, excuse? - need the exercise. But when you have a shopping trolley full of stuff, its bad enough getting it out of the doors nevermind 3 miles to where the car is parked. Thats going with the state of shopping trolleys and their inability to travel in straight lines!

Mathom
That happens to me too! Mind, depending on the car park, sometimes I choose to park near other cars as it seems safer. I try to get next to old yet really shiny cars as they're odds on owned by careful pensioners who won't bang your doors. Never ever park by a van, big 4x4, people carrier or something full of toys and kid stuff if you are scared of your paintwork getting scratched. Does anyone notice this too? When the car park has a lot of spaces, and you've got all the doors open in order to get a load of stuff in or out, some idiot invariably wants the one space next to you instead of going into another one, so you have to go and shut all your doors, and struggle with whatever you were doing. Then the driver walks off giving you dirty looks?
babychickens
I think this is refered to as the "beach space effect" theory - if you arrive at an empty beach, and set yourself up 0.5km from the nearest person, the next person to arrive will gravitate towards you and settle within 5m of you. Anj1364
The thing that we notice lot is when we go back to the car, nine times out of ten the people next to you return to theirs at the same time.

Let a man drive into a packed carpark and he'll park the car with ease, however if he drives into a half empty carpark, he rides around like a fool and cant decide where to park so what does he do .... parks in between two other cars! ________ Medical cannabis seeds
