magsie
We have been given a brochure from which to choose a kitchen from our builder, no price list! Has anyone had a good/bad experience and did you view the units before they were installed? I know Howden are subsidiary of MFI but wonder if they are of same quality but possibly more expensive?? Thanks. Magsie
Weeowen
I'd expect them to be a bit cheaper than MFI.We had a Howden Kitchen put in a few years ago.The quality is fine for the price charged.I understand that the list price is subject to discount. We paid about £1500 for an average sized kitchen. This did not include fitting.Hope that this helps. Humperlumper
Howden kitchens usually come with the units pre built (not flatpack). My mate has had one fitted and he's very happy at the price he paid. I think they are only available through account holders, builders, joiners etc., but I think they have a showroom where your supplier can arrange an appointment for you. Hope this helps. Weeowen
We had seven wall cabinets and four base cabinets installed. One was a corner unit. The end pieces were priced in plus we chose basic worktops rather than granite or wood. Our builder had a account with them but anyone can go to the showroom and look.We used the showroom near to Bramall Lane.I'm not sure of the exact address. They are not the best kitchen in the world but are far far from being the worse. They delivered on time nad everything was there.Plus ,if there are any problems it is easy to go the depot and replace things. shinehill
I have had two kitchens from Howdens one in my old house and then in my new plus 3 family members have also been very happy. They now offer a design service as well. My husband prefers them as the units are ready made plus they deliver and you can get everything from units to cookers.
