SL31
I have knitted socks for my nephew before and have many baby patterns, but he's nearly 1 and a growing lad, he's about a size 4/5 and i just wondered if anyone knew of any pattern sites, i have tried looking but i come up with are "old fashioned". I have bought him some wellies for his Birthday what them to be thick so he can wear them underneath! Cheers, Sarah
Guest
I'll have a search for you . I thought there was a thread on here the other week about socks for youngsters, but I think the patterns were for babies.
Guest
I've just remembered that I have a pdf file of a sock chart. It's a table which gives you the number of stitches to cast on, number of heel stitches and rows etc to make socks for any size, from babies and children up to adult sizes. If you PM me your email address, I'll send you a copy, as I can't recall which web site I got it from.
Guest
I've had a search for toddler socks and come up with a few patterns. The one thing to note is that I think most of these are from American sites, so you'll have to look up the UK equivalent shoe size. You could always play around with different yarns and needle sizes though, until you get the dimensions you need. Baby and Toddler Socks. Basketweave Toddler Socks. Cabled Toddler Socks. Simple Toddler Socks. Easy Toddler Socks. **This is a direct link to a PDF file**
