desy
Yes Brunswick got it logged on a friend certificate when we got a Staff member from each pub we visited to sign it for his 21st. Schedule was a half in 36 pubs. We only managed 23 before he was left in a waste paper bin on the Moor. Happy days
Plain Talker
So what was the Berni Inn on Exchange Street called at the time it was the Berni Inn? I always thought it was "The old No 12" Grinder a Berni Inn? wow! is that what is now the dreadfully run-down Market Tavern, just below the castle market? happyhippy
The pub on Exchange St. was called the Rotherham House at the time of it closing and is now the Market Tavern The link is to the pub on Haymarket, which the OP wanted. According to the link the name changed from the Sun to the Old No 12. As it shut nearly 20 years before I was born, I can't say too much else really, but maybe this link would help. http://www.sheffieldpubs.fsnet.co.uk/Business/pubs/rotherham%20house.htm
