hmr44
I want to go to the gym, just to see what its like before being a member cos I don't want to get bored of it and not stick with it. Can anybody recommend one? H x
*Ryan*
Most gyms let you you pay as you go as it were.. But if you want to try it first, they will let you go in and have a little play around, well fitness first at hillsboro does, not sure about others.. medusa
Provided you've had an induction on how to use the machines safely (you book one with the staff- I don't think there's a charge for it), you can pay by the session to use the gym at any of the council run leisure centres (Ponds Forge, Hillsborough, Concord etc). There's also a nice little gym that you can pay by the visit at the Netherthorpe Healthy Living Centre, and gyms popping up run by local charities like the Burton Street Project in Hillsborough. the_mandarin
If you know a member at Ponds Forge, he/she can introduce you and you can get a 5-day free trial that includes a free induction.
