Dyspraxia. Does anyone know how long it takes test results to come back?

Recommended Posts

I know this is an old thread, but i wondered where adults can get tested for dyspraxia? my GP didn't seem interested and basically said that because i used a keyboard at work i couldn't be dyspraxic. i may use a keyboard but it doesn't mean i am any good with it!

Good question.

I do know that Reigate in Sheffield assess special educational needs, but their services are for children.

Perhaps to be referred to a specialist your dyspraxia needs to be severely impacting on your life, and your doc doesn't seem to think yours is.

I wonder if you could think about how your dyspreaxia is hampering all other areas of your life, make a list and see another GP in the practice?
