katy1981
ok i couldnt find a im annoid today section so i put it here sorry if this is the wrong place right today my boss decided to give me a verbal warning because during a very rushed time at work last week wheni was buttering soe toast i accidently got some of the butter on the crust of the bread which i immediately wiped off but he felt it was odviously serious misshap on my part which required a verbal warning i then get told off because my partner came to work at 11am one day and then at 1.30pm another day to pick me up which by the way those were the times i finished my shift his reasons for this was , what would have happened if it was busy (it wasnt but hey ho) to which i said if it was busy i odviously wouldnt have left but as it wasnt i thought its ok to leave and i did ask if i was ok to get off before i left the building he then said thats two verbal warnings now the next one will be your last surely theres written warnings after the verbal then he can sack me maybe he was having a bad day! just wanted to say my boss is a total t**t and today i hate my job! Gadgetgirl
what time are you contracted to work to? if it was after that, tell him to shove it, better still claim a grievence with his boss, you should have had a written summary of the verbal warnings....it sounds like victimisation to me, have you turned him down or sommat? Guest Mod_Man
It sounds like your boss fancies you and is perhaps a little jealous about your fella coming to pick you up. I do'nt think buttering toast incorrectly is worth a verbal warning. Unless you're the official toast butterer to the queen.

KenH
It sounds to me like he wants to get rid of you and is thinking of any dodgy excuse. I can't even understand the bit about getting butter on a crust, why would anyone care?
