pussinboots
Hi, my Ipod was working fine for ages until the other day when I tried to charge it and its now lost all the music on my Ipod and Itunes is coming up with a message to say there isn't enough disc space left to update the Ipod. Please help!
sallonoroff
Don't suppose this helps? Have you tried 'restoring' the iPod using the iPod Updater software? .
pussinboots
Thanks for this. I have looked at the link, it does suggest deleting some music which I have done and have the same problem. Its more the fault in Itunes than the Ipod itself I think and there is no disc space on there.
sallonoroff
No space on the computer, or on the iPod? .

sallonoroff
Go to 'My Computer'... right-click on the C: drive and choose 'Properties'. How much free space does it say you have remaining? .
pussinboots
It says 62.8 I've rang the Apple shop at Meadowhall who have advised me to change the Ipod preferences to update manually as they say I have too many records on the Ipod, I have done that and still nothing happens. Its held these songs for all this time so I can't see why its suddenly playing up now.
sallonoroff
Take it into the Applestore and they'll show you in person what you need to do... .
