bigflesh
Please don't move this thread, (as I'm not selling!), but, I saw this story and shook my head..... The cats have been genetically modified, hence, will not cause the red eyes, sneezing and even asthma that some cat allergy sufferers experience! Does the world not have enough cats to go around each and everyone of us (loving owners), without creating specific one's? Yours for $3,950 Whatever next? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/5375900.stm
Bartfarst
The whole point is that, for people allergic to cats, there are indeed not enough going round that they can have - or there wouldnt be a $4000 price tag on these moggies.

Bartfarst
But those people who want to give a loving home to a cat cannot always do so if they're allergic to cats - so what's greed got to do with somebody wanting a pet?

fnkysknky
So we're messing with nature just so some tool can have a pet. They're crap pets anyway
fnkysknky
After reading the story - at least they didn't modify the genes directly - they just bred the few cats that didn't cause allergies.
