56cheffy
Looking for a really nice phone for my 15 year old son, but where do I start, there are so many to choose from, so many networks and so many places to buy them from!!!! I don't wanna pay a fortune (£100'ish) and want a pay as you go one...Any suggestions. There are always phones for sale on here and ebay, should I go for one of these or go to the high street? alkatraz
Buy a cheap-ish Nokia and it will be easy to use and understand and have standard connections (for example, you can use pretty much any Nokia charger on any Nokia phone, which isn't the same for other manufacturers, generally). I'm not saying Nokia is always the winner, or is perfect in any way.. but generally, for a good starter, buy a cheap Nokia and you'll get what you're after. As for the network.. it all depends on the actual call package.. you can't really choose between networks as the companies that run them are all pretty bad. Vodafone, Orange, O2, T-Mobile (in that order) is probably the way to go - but READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS THOROUGHLY.
56cheffy
Don't wanna cheap one, he's had those previously, thought I'd treat him to a decent one, with mp3, camera, etc..What's the Nokia 6111 like that they advertise on Xfactor? Do they have to be on contract or can you get them pay as you go
