How do you stop recieving email every time a post is sent on forum

hiya im hoping someone will let me know how to stop recieving notification emails from all new posts on a thread you have posted on.

hiya lesbaxby i know i must seem really thick but i cant seem to find where you would cancel this notification, i have unchecked boxes that allow emails but i still recieve these notifications, if you could help me further it would be most appreciated!,

Select "Edit Options"

 

Look for "Default Thread Subscription Mode"

 

Select "Do not Subscribe"

Select YOUR CP on the left (under forum contents).

 

Click EDIT OPTIONS (under settings and options).

 

Under MESSAGING AND NOTIFICATION ensure that DO NOT SUBSCRIBE is selected in "Default Thread Subscription Mode".

 

That should stop any further emails. However, you may need to unsubscribe from the ones you already get. To do this:

 

Click LIST SUBSCRIPTIONS.

 

Click the threads you don't wish to be notified of any more.

 

Select DELETE SUBSCRIPTION.
