CHOIRBOY Posted September 22, 2006 Share Posted September 22, 2006 My son lives in an area where the accomodation is being renewed new bathroom kitchens etc( most necessary after over 40 years of use. He returned from holday to fing the sink unit and washer in the middle of the lounge disconnected after frantic phone calls this was rectified. He has come home from work today to find that his cooker is disconnected and there is no power supply to the plug sockets. so no cooking TV Radio etc He rang the contact number and was told that the electricans had gone home and nothing could be done until monday!! He is fortunate that his dad lives nearby so could go for a meal shower etc. What would have happened if this had been say an elderly pensioner. We realize that there woud be some disruption but this is unaccepatable there does not seem to be any co-odination and supervision. How can we sort this?
