I shall be going to sheffield on saturday to bank St can anyone tell me how to get there from the Parkway. I have not been to that part of the town for years and have just looked at a map and it looks to be all oneways'.

I hear that they have bgrd up the city centre and it looks like it.

Go along Bank Street towards the Co-op (ie away from West Bar), and at the end of the road you have to turn left down Snig Hill. When you get to the traffic lights at the bottom of Snig Hill, get into the right hand lane and go straight ahead to the roundabout at West Bar. Turn right down Corporation Street, when you get to the traffic lights at the far end turn right again onto Nursery Street and when you reach the lights at the end of there (where it joins the Wicker) get into the middle lane for straight ahead and just follow that lane until you meet the Parkway.

Yes saxon - good instructions for a driving instructor - backwards !

If you are coming from the parkway get in the 3rd lane (of 4).

Go right round the roundabout, past the markets and follow the road round (past a pub called the alexandra).

When you come to some crossroads go stright over, past the court building on your left and up a small hill - keep left but bear right.

At the roundabout (fire museum in front of you) turn left and bank street is first left.

Overall this is the route i have taken for around 10 years so the one ways do not affect this.

See the instructions from Saxon on how to get back.

Similar, but I find it easier to turn left in to Snig Hill at the junction where the Police building is on your left - so not having to queue at the west bar Roundabout. Once you have turned left you are at the lights facing the Co-op. Turn right directly in to Bank Street along side the Boardwalk (ex- Mucky Duck).
