canuck
Hi All, I'm new in Sheffield and was hoping somebody knew of a good computer store (reasonable prices etc.). Specifically, I'm looking for a wireless router to free up my telewest broadband, as well as a printer/scanner. Any ideas on which routers work well with telewest's system? Thanks! DaFoot
I am using an SMC barricade wireless model with telewest broadband. I'll try to remeber to pass on the model number.
Rich
At the risk of inciting a riot (and no, I do not do this on purpose before anyone starts), PC World sell decent routers.

canuck
Thanks all. Great suggestions. As I'm new to Sheffield, I'm not sure how the housing styles affect range. I'm in a typical 2 up 2 down mid-terrace with a developed loft. The telewest cable is in the front room on the main floor, and my office is in the loft (2nd floor, 3rd floor -- I always forget how floors are numbered in the UK). Will I need to get one of these superbooster or MIMO routers, or do the regular old ones do the trick?
