It's a BT sales offer and will save me about £20-30 a month in call and internet charges. So do you know a catch, is BT broadband rubbish or is it a great deal I should grab with both hands ? owlsman Posted September 21, 2006 Share Posted September 21, 2006 BT suck! Ive moved over to TalkTalk, for some reason they seem to have a bad rep, but i have no complaints what so ever. I've been with them now for 4 years and never had any problems except when I moved house and they had to change the Broadband over.. Took nearly 8 weeks to do because of a mistake from one of their operators but other than that, the connection is great and is being upgraded to 8MB free in the next month (from 4) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Yes they do have a Indian call centre which is not very good, but so does Talk talk and I find them even more impossible to understand. I'm paying about £40/month to BT at the moment for calls and £20+ for internet so it would see a reduction in costs and a better service. I went for BT's "Option 3", which allowed up to 30Gb monthly, but that's also risen to 40Gb recently for no extra cost... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Main one was my connection dropping everytime a little bit of rain fell. Paying £25.99 a month for a 512 also didnt help matters. Big from me. Guess you guys are lucky. PS.
