FolkmasterG
Hi everyone, I need to get a new laptop, as the old one isn't really up to anything much now. Has anyone got any good recommendations of bricks-and-mortor or online shops, that might be able to help me out? I'd like to get something decent, with good speed/memory, and I am looking to spend £300-£400. I need somewhere that offers decent finance packages as well. Thank you all, so much, for any info. sallonoroff
Won't get much brand-new for £400. There's several budget machines around, but as you might expect nothing with amazing spec. I'd stick to big brands... Toshiba and Acer tend to do several 'budget' options. .
Cyclone
Dells budget machines can be under £400. But you will get what you pay for in terms of spec. Quality of dell machines is good though, and finance is available.

sallonoroff
Dells budget machines can be under £400. Yes, they can be. But very rarely are they as cheap as they advertise them. £349 in the 'paper often becomes £439 when you try to buy one online. .
