Friends, Romans, Countrymen, lend me your ear.

One needs to extract information from more learned forummers regarding a specific time in the dark hours over the next seven days.

One is a foreigner to the Sheffield area, originating from the town of Rotherham, however I intend to visit your city in the week that new students are interned.

Would the learned people therefore recommend Wednesday, or should I stifle my avid excitement a further 24 hours & visit on Thursday.

Your Good Health

Andy.

Hope this helps?:hihi: :hihi: :hihi:

Hi, check out your uni website - if it's Sheffield then I know they have a section listing all events for every day of freshers week..sure Hallam will have the same, too.

Don_Kiddick - just have to say I've laughed out loud at your "translation", good job not many people around at work today, might think I'm going mad.. :D Andy - it's all good-natured, and many time-pressed forummers have to resort to, shall we say, abbreviated forms of language :)

Its all about the funk party at the Ruby Lounge (just off division street) on Thursday! There's two live musicians, a saxophone-playing dj and some great drinks offers. Genuinely good music and a great time to be had. Plus its free entry too. Tempted?! Check out the website at souledoutonline.co.uk
