Lemmy
I have two sofas that I don't want anymore. They would probably be suitable for recovering. I really would prefer them to be recycled in some way. Does anybody know of anybody/charity/organisation that could use them. I don't want anything for them. One was from ikea and the other from Laura Ashley.

kittenta
You could put an advert in shop windows etc offering them for free but need to be collected? Is there anywhere that does free house clearence stuff a lot of them take odd pieces of furniture too.
Sal22
Put them on the for sale section, i managed to get someone to take my sofas away for free, i think they used them for a student house. They even gave me a bottle of wine!
Gemima
I used to work for a charity and new laws, mean that they have to have all the latest fire regs labels before the charity can either pass them on or sell them. Trying to get rid of an older donated sofa was a nightmare as the dump used to charge too.
MickeyBarnes
you should take it in your car and throw it on the side of the road or down a country lane something. thats what i do. Mattresses aswell.
