Sully
Hi I've been having a clean up and have emptied my recycle bin I now realise I have deleted some photos that I haven't printed. Can I get them back, I thought doing a system restore would put them back but it hasn't, i'm on windows XP Thansk
Cyclone
there are file utilities that will recover deleted files. google for 'deleted file recovery'. If you can, don't use the pc and if you have too use it then don't do anything else diskwise (like defragmenting). Chances are at the moment that the photos are recoverable. Bourne
http://www.snapfiles.com/get/restoration.html I've used this with HDDs and Compactflash cards. It's free! B
christait
Would second Bourne's recommendation for the restoration app. Very good and saved me a few times with lost images of flash cards.
sallonoroff
Yes, RESTORATION works ok. PC Inspector is also quite good. .

Sully
Hi, many thanks, got a lot of things back but not many pictures but I think that's because it's been a couple of weeks since the bin was empited. I did recover some with some other software that I can't remember the name of but could find if anyone was desperate but although it was a free trial, it wanted £21.95 to recover them, and although I love my children I can always take more piccs. thanks again
