Bikertec
21st September Madron the autumn Equinox or as know by the other religions as Harvest festival. Do schools still do this I remember being in the infants and taking food and stuff which was distributed to the local pensioners. Back to the point I wonder how many will be celebrating it at home or somewhere special like the nine ladies.

beckb
My son's school still do it. I always forget and end up stopping at the Spar on the way to school. All the other mum's have thoughtfully prepared baskets of food bedecked with ribbons and I out a carrier on the table! They usually have a sing song, the older ones go to a church service then the spoils are taken to the local pensioners or homeless shelters.
