Does anyone know a good place in sheffield where i coudl have my wedding reception and night do???

I dont want it to cheap and tacky but then again i dont wnat it to posh and expensive.

We were originally gunna go with holiday inn, but it is so expensive! £500 for deposit, and tehn tehy want half of teh rest 6months before which is about another £500 i think.

For that we only get a complimentary standerd room, with champagne and fruit,a dn we got the food for both parts.

If we want a dj we have to pay an extra £150, for them to supply us with a dj but tehy will be looking and hiring it for us!

Any help is appreciated

thanx xx

£1000 for a wedding reception is not bad - we just had ours in a function room in a pub and it cost a lot more than that!!

And £150 for a DJ is not bad either.

It wasn't in Sheffield though so can't recommend anywhere sorry.

My friends got married at a national Trust Manor House near Manchester. Apparently the whole day (they had the ceremony there too) was either £300 or £500, there was a bar, room for the ceremony, room for food, room with DJ and dance floor. We had the whole place! It was great

Apparentl;y all National trust places are very reasonable, so may be worth checking some fo them out. Can't recommend any round here tho I'm afraid
